Fortnite adds iconic Halloween killer as part of Fortnite Nightmares event

Turn off the lights and barricade the gates of Mega City, because Fortnite has added some Halloween-themed items to its Item Shop, along with the Michael Myers outfit. The pack is called 'The Shape' and is available for download now.

The new Halloween tie-in comes as part of the ongoing Fortnite Fortnite Nightmares 2023 event in the blockbuster battle royale game. We've already seen a bunch of spooky new content coming, including a new look from a hit Disney Halloween movie.

'The Shape' pack includes the Michael Myers outfit, the 'Live From Haddonfield' emote, a pumpkin-themed back bling and the Slasher pickaxe. The entire package will earn you 1,800 V-Bucks, while you'll need to spend 1,500 V-Bucks to buy the outfit alone. The best part of this new pack is arguably the wording that plays up the iconic Halloween theme from the original movie.

Michael Myers' outfit looks like an amalgamation of multiple versions of the famous horror movie. There are definitely elements of the last reboot in there, as well as hints of the original outfit from Halloween (1978).

Fortnite Nightmares 2023 continues We'll be adding more Halloween-themed items over the next week or so as we get closer to Tuesday, October 31st. There are even map changes like ghost figures that point out loot and candy buckets that drop consumables when looted.
